May 2014 – Still not pregnant.  I suspected that I was not ovulating and had an appointment with an OB/GYN.  Doctor agreed and prescribed 100mg of Clomid

June 2014- First cycle of Clomid

July 5, 2014 – BFP!

July 12, 2014 – Began feeling bad cramping, later started bleeding.  I went to the ER where I was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst.  Doctors believe the cyst is the cause of my pain and tell me that bleeding can be normal in a healthy pregnancy.  Had an ultrasound to look for pregnancy but was not found which they assured me was typical given my HCG levels (thought to be a very early pregnancy).  I was given Tylenol and discharged.

July 14, 2014 – Very bad cramping, could not sleep because of the pain, went to the ER.  Another ultrasound was unable to find the embryo and my HCG levels did not double.  Miscarriage was imminent.  Later that week I had an appointment with my OB/GYN to discuss options.  We decided it was best to have surgery to removed the large ovarian cyst and do a D&C to end the pregnancy at the same time.

July 21, 2014 – OB/GYN was sick and surgery was rescheduled for 7/23/2014.  I was in so much pain I called his office to see if it was possible for his partner to do the surgery.  I was told I must wait.

July 23, 2014 – I woke up from surgery to learn that the pregnancy was ectopic and the cyst was so large it had caused torsion on my ovary.  Both my left fallopian tube and left ovary were removed.

August 2014 – Still recovering from surgery

September – November 2014 – Did not try, did not prevent – Not pregnant

December 2014 – Did not try, did not prevent.  Made an appointment with new OB/GYN for January.    Not pregnant.

January 2015- New OB/GYN told me I wasn’t being patient enough and that he did not want to give me a prescription for Clomid at that time.  I was told to work on my blood sugar and come back in two months.  Not pregnant.

February 2015 – Not pregnant

March 2015 – OB/GYN was not inclined to give me a Clomid.  I explained that my husband’s company was recently purchased and we didn’t know what our insurance would be like the next year and this was my last chance at getting pregnant and having the baby during 2015.  He grudgingly gave me the prescription.  We went on vacation during my fertile time and had plenty of time for each other.  I was so optimistic this would be the month!

April 2015 – Not pregnant, totally devastated.  Half-hearted began my second month of Clomid.
